The latest issue of Australian Hysteria Magazine is out now and features an editorial on Hardcore Halloween. The mag also caught up with Oscar from 50 Lions in conjunction with the event. The Amity Affliction have announced a regional run this August/September. The ‘Anchors Tour’ arrives in Byron on September 2nd at the High School. Locals Word Up! and Brisbane punks Fires of Waco will be supporting along with Melbourne hardcore group Hopeless. Tickets are already on sale at All Music & Vision stores as well as other Moshtix & Oztix outlets. If you haven’t already picked it up, the band have a new album titled ‘Youngbloods’ out now on Boomtown Records.

After debuting their new album “Youngbloods” at #6 on the ARIA Charts and selling out the majority of their capital cities run earlier this month, The Amity Affliction have put together a regional run in August / September to appease the thousands of fans who are dying for more from the Brisbane six-piece.
As their first tour for 2010, the recently completed “Youngbloods” trek was a massive success. With sold out rooms anywhere from 900 to 2200 capacity, the response was nothing short of pandemonium. The tour came just two weeks after their sophomore album “Youngbloods” debuted at #6 on the ARIA Charts.
“Anchors” is the Triple J rotated single taken from the album, and one of the band’s most popular tracks to date. The Anchors Tour will take in regional and suburban dates along the East Coast, and will be the final tour for 2010 as the band prepares to launch their UK and US campaigns at then of the year.
Get in quick, because like the Youngbloods Tour, all these shows are expected to sell out.
Ticket for The Anchors Tour will go on sale July 22nd.

The Amity Affliction have uploaded a new track from their second full length album ‘Youngbloods’ which is being recorded in the USA with Machine (Armor For Sleep, Cobra Starship, Four Year Strong). You can keep up to date with what they are up to on their website. The album will be in stores June 18 through Boomtown/Shock and the band will be on a national tour in July with Misery Signals, Confession & Flood Of Red.
