Evergreen Terrace Australian Tour

// March 29th, 2010 // No Comments » // Tours

After their incendiary performances on the 2009 Soundwave festival, Destroy All Lines, Blunt Magazine and Killyourstereo.com and are pleased to announce that Florida’s Evergreen Terrace will be hitting our shores this May to celebrate the release of their latest record, Almost Home. Along for the ride will be fellow Floridian outfit Casey Jones and local hard men Dropsaw.

Since their inception in 1999, Evergreen Terrace have been at the forefront of the modern hardcore movement, with their resume including no less than five full-length albums, a series of splits releases and EPs as well as a touring schedule that would break a lesser band. The group’s latest effort, Almost Home, has seen the Evergreen Terrace sound expand on the melodic elements that they’ve explored in the past, whilst still maintaining the aggressive edge that has made them a fan favourite over the years.

Showcasing a more punk infused sound than the headliners, fellow Floridians Casey Jones will be bringing their high-energy, straight edge anthems to Australian stages for the first time. This is one act that you don’t want to miss as it will be the one and only time they will be hitting our shores.

Rounding out this already impressive bill is Newcastle’s Dropsaw, who will be touring for the first time since recording their third studio-album (Hard Justice – released May 14th) in the US with Tim Lambesis of As I Lay Dying.

The tour will stop in Byron Friday May 21st at Byron Bay High School. Doors 6pm.
