Today marks the release of the much anticipated fourth full length album from Parkway Drive. Atlas is 12 tracks of the most adventurous material seen by the band yet. You can grab a copy from JB Hifi online here, or on iTunes here.

As they approach their 10 year anniversary as a band, Miles Away return to Byron in December. Today the band has announced a selection of special supports and friends who will be playing the show with them. Apart from the exciting tour package, local bands The Street Youth, Word Up! and Bonestorm have been added to round out one of the most impressive line ups seen here in recent times. Arguably two of the most popular bands to come out of the Byron Bay Hardcore scene over the past 5 years, both The Street Youth and Word Up! will be doing a one off reunion as part of this show. New Byron band Bonestorm will be providing something fresh with their blend of hardcore and thrash. Needless to say, this will be one of the wildest shows on offer this summer so grab a ticket from any Oztix Outlet or online here before they are all snapped up.

Cruel Hand from Portland, ME (USA) are a band that have been lucky enough to tour our country twice in the space of two years and have just recently announced their third visit as they return in support of Miles Away on the Make It A Decade Tour. CH have enjoyed a strong following in Australia since their first visit in 2009, this tour will see them support for the first time out here as part of an amazing package of bands. Check this video of them and Iperfest this year.
The Make It A Decade tour featuring Miles Away, Cruel Hand & The Others hits Byron on Wednesday December 5th at the YAC. A band that has a rich history playing Byron for the last 10 years or so will be back this year supporting Parkway Drive on the Atlas Australian Tour. I Killed The Prom Queen recently announced their return with a new line up and a tour with The Amity Affliction in May of last year. The band have since followed up with a recent European festival run this year and the first release of their new material through the music video above. See them along with Parkway Drive, Northlane and Survival on Thursday Dec 13th at Byron Bay High School.

Parkway Drive have posted the new music video for their song “Dark Days”.
The track is the first song to be released from the band’s new album “Atlas”, which will be released on October 30 through Resist/Epitaph Records.
The album was recorded at Sunset Lodge Studios in Los Angeles with esteemed producer Matt Hyde (Slayer, Hatebreed, Sum 41, Alkaline Trio).
To launch the release of the album, the band will be touring in December with I Killed The Prom Queen, Northlane and Survival.
