EAST COAST RAMPAGE TOUR 2013
// April 19th, 2013 // No Comments » // Tours
UNFD and NEW WORLD ARTISTS have teamed up to bring fans one of
the strongest tour packages of 2013 in the EAST COAST RAMPAGE TOUR.
Kicking off in June, the tour will feature I KILLED THE PROM QUEEN,
HOUSE VS HURRICANE, BURIED IN VERONA and SAVIOUR.
and will hit towns all along the East Coast of Australia.
East Coast Rampage is the first headline tour for I KILLED THE PROM QUEEN
since their ”Say Goodbye” tour in 2008, where the band sold out 4 shows at
Melbourne’s Hifi bar and 2 shows at the massive Roundhouse venue in Sydney.
Since then members have gone on to embark on a variety of different projects
including Bring Me The Horizon and Deez Nuts. 2013 will see the band return
with a tweaked lineup and a slew of new songs, with plans for a new album
underway. As one of the original bands playing the genre worldwide, IKTPQ
are considered forefathers of the Australian hardcore and metal scene.
HOUSE VS HURRICANE will be returning to tour capital cities after a huge
start to 2013 which included playing the main stage slot at BIG DAY OUT,
performing at the SLAM DUNK Festival in the UK as well as touring across
Europe and the UK with the likes of Memphis May Fire, For The Fallen Dreams
and Dream On Dreamer. Their album “Crooked Teeth” was released
last year to praise from fans and industry alike – garnering ARIA, JIMA
and AMP nominations and crossing over into the Triple J market with
standout singles “Blood Knuckles” and “Get Wrecked”.
Sydney five piece BURIED IN VERONA have also had a massive 12 months,
following the June release of their breakthrough album “Notorious”.
The LP debuted at #20 on the ARIA charts and gained worldwide acclaim as
the band toured the US, UK and Europe multiple times with some of the biggest
names in metal and hardcore. In September 2012 they got the most coveted
touring slot in Australia, opening on the The Amity Affliction’s massive arena
tour alongside The Ghost Inside. The tour sold over 20,000 tickets and exposed
BURIED IN VERONA to a massive fanbase. The East Coast Rampage tour will be
their first Australian shows in more than 7 months, promising a huge return to
our shores after a very successful sold out US tour with Chelsea Grin and Attila.
Rounding up the bill will be Perth locals SAVIOUR. The melodic metalcore
quintet has worked extremely hard in the past 12 months, touring Australia
multiple times with bands such as Dream on Dreamer and Make Them Suffer,
developing their fan base in both capital and regional cities. After recording
their soon to be released new album Feb/March with Fredrik Nordstorm,
the band will embark on their first east coast tour of 2013.
The tour will run over the 10 days through June as the bands get ready to
record their new records. The shows are in smaller cap venues, with a
cheap ticket prices to encourage fans to give all three acts a big
response for their last shows on their current records.

10 YEARS OF PARKWAY DRIVE
Undisputed kings of Australian hardcore, PARKWAY DRIVE are set to commemorate 10 years of incredible achievements with a special anniversary tour this September.
Turning 10 is yet another milestone in the career of the quintet, who’ve set benchmark after benchmark since playing their first show at Byron Bay Youth Activity Centre back in 2003. Major accomplishments have included two Gold-certified albums, two Platinum-selling DVDs, sold-out Australian tours, countless global circumnavigations, and appearances at virtually every major music festival on the planet.
PARKWAY DRIVE’s most recent full-length, 2012’s Atlas, helped further reinforce their position as leaders in their field, hitting all the familiar marks while exploring breathtaking new sonic avenues.
PARKWAY DRIVE’s 10-year anniversary tour is planned as a celebration for both the band and their staunch fanbase. Set to be held in some of the most intimate venues the band has played in many years, the setlists will be comprised of material spanning their entire back catalogue, including some older fan favourites that will be dusted off especially for the occasion.
“We can’t believe we lasted 10 years!” says vocalist Winston McCall “We’re going to be taking it back to the Parkway of old. Classic venues, classic jams. We’ve been going over our releases and have around 30 songs from all eras ready to be dusted off. No frills, just Parkway the way it always has been, fast, heavy and fun.”

IN HEARTS WAKE – THE SURVIVAL TOUR
Byron Bay hardcore act In Hearts Wake have just announced The Survival Tour, which boasts nine dates across Australia throughout June. Joining them for the ride are Canadian hardcore frontrunners Counterparts, along with locals The Storm Picturesque and Stories.
Since the release of their debut album Divination in August last year, In Hearts Wake have toured consistently across Australia leaving no region unturned. Their impressive schedule in late last year included consecutive tour supports for House Vs Hurricane, Dream On Dreamer, Enter Shikari and Iwrestledabearonce. The band also played an extensive run of headline shows before supporting Northlane on their massive regional Worldeater tour in January.
Not content to sit back and relax, the band are about to embark on a mission to visit every last corner of New Zealand and will then will take on a couple of regional dates, before shifting their focus towards The Survival Tour.
Having played more than 100 shows in the last 7 months, it is safe to say the five-piece have built themselves a very loyal following, and it seems fans aren’t the only ones paying attention. In Hearts Wake were voted Best Newcomer of 2012 by Blunt Magazines’ end of year readers poll, and Divination was voted #1 Album Of The Year in 2012 on KillYourStereo.com‘s end of year rankings. Highly regarded US magazine AltPress has also named them one of the top bands to watch in 2013.
Supporting In Hearts Wake on The Survival Tour are Counterparts, who will play their debut shows on Australian soil. Signed to Victory Records, the Canadian lads have made a lot of noise worldwide since the release of their sophomore album “The Current Will Carry Us”. The Storm Picturesque from Newcastle will be coming off their tour with US act I The Breather and will play songs from their highly anticipated album “Arrival”. Stories will open the bill, riding high since the release of their debut EP “Void” which was released for free earlier this month to praise and adoration from fans and peers alike.
The Survival Tour will be the final headline run on the Divination album cycle in Australia. Post tour, the band will turn their attention to new opportunities both locally and overseas.
An extremely limited ticket pre-sale bundle is now available in via the UNFD store at http://store.weareunified.com/products/the-survival-tour.html – $50 will buy you an exclusive IHW “Survival” cap and a ticket to your chosen show with no booking fees.

Australian Tour April 2013
With Special Guests
Civil War
Touring Australia for the first time in April around Break The Ice Festival in Melbourne, US hardcore heavyweights Cold World and Rotting Out. Taking in both coasts before they head to Break The Ice, Cold World and Rotting Out will bring chaos to audiences nationwide supported on the tour by Sydney newcomers Civil War.
Cold World have made waves in hardcore, their debut album No Omega challenged convention by incorporating hip hop and digital elements while still delivering the driving riffs and personal lyrics more commonly associated with hardcore. Their fusion of styles continued on Dedicated To Babies Who Came Feet First, an instant classic that cemented the band on top of modern hardcore, having played in every possible setting in the US, Europe and Asia, it’s time for Australia to see why Cold World are so highly regarded. With a new album coming soon, Cold World will make their way down under for the first time in April.
Rotting Out are a bright light for hardcore in 2013. Their distinct brand of hardcore combines punk rock speed, emotive lyrics and groove laden riffs to create a feeling of urgency and vitality. Rotting Out are turning heads worldwide after their debut album Street Prowl, now everyone knows how good Rotting Out are and nobody will be taken by surprise when they release The Wrong Way later this year. Rotting Out are unparalleled live, the constant energy of vocalist Walter is only matched by the audiences he shares his thoughts with and each show is a spectacle to behold. Honest and fun, Rotting Out will head to Australia for the first time in April.
Rounding out the bill will be Civil War.
