Hopeless East Coast Shows

// February 13th, 2012 // No Comments » // Shows, Tours

Hopeless will embark on a quick East Coast tour in March before disappearing to record and prepare for the release of their new album later in the year. Since having released their debut album Dear World in 2009, the band has conquered Australia, playing countless tours and playing supports to some of the worlds biggest names in alternative music such as A Day To Remember and Parkway Drive. The band has started the process of writing for a highly anticipated new release, the line up is slightly different but the attitude is the same and these shows will mark the final time many of the Dear World and Human songs are played live. Hopeless bring to the stage a passion unmatched, whether it is the first time or hundredth time seeing them, these shows are not to be missed.

Supporting Hopeless on this run will be Sydney’s Endless Heights. A band who has exploded onto the scene with the release of their second EP Dream Strong, the band continues to go from strength to strength. Their melodic sensibilities and always hopeful and positive outlook winning over audiences one at a time; Endless Heights are the new generation.

ANCHOR are geared up to play alongside Baltimore’s TRAPPED UNDER ICE on four of their shows throughout their tour, and Gold Coast labelmate’s PROMISES will be joining them on the first leg of the tour.

Trapped Under Ice Australian Tour

// January 10th, 2012 // No Comments » // Shows, Tours

In the wake of releasing Big Kiss Goodnight, Baltimore’s hardest hardcore band, Trapped Under Ice, are set to take over the globe again, and this March it will be Australia’s turn to realise once again why TUI are back on the tips of everyone’s tongues. Joining them around the country will be Sydney’s Relentless, setting this tour up to be one of the most unforgettable tours of 2012.

Recorded by Chad Gilbert (New Found Glory, Terror), Big Kiss Goodnight sees Trapped Under Ice diversify their hardcore sound and evolve into a band that ticks all the boxes. They have stayed as hard as hard can be, but this time have introduced elements of melody and fun throughout, earning it rave reviews from across the globe. TUI have followed up its release with their own headline US tour alongside Hundredth and Backtrack. Having previously toured with everyone from Hatebreed to Every Time I Die and Despised Icon, the band is a tightly oiled machine, bringing intensity and passion to the stage wherever they go. Trapped Under Ice are going to dominate stages from the east coast to the west.

2012 is set to be the biggest year in the life of Relentless. While 2011 saw them release their debut album, Set In Stone, tour Australia multiple times as well as conquer South East Asia, 2012 is bigger and better. Album number two will see the light of day and the year will also see the band travel to the US for the first time to play the prestigious New England Metal And Hardcore Fest. One of Australia’s best hardcore exports, Relentless’ dedication to their craft and their unwillingness to compromise have seen them build from a local act to a truly world class band. Bring on 2012!

Trapped Under Ice’s Big Kiss Goodnight is out now through Dogfight Records.

Relentless’ Set In Stone is out now, also through Dogfight Records.
