Endless Roads

// July 20th, 2010 // No Comments » // Tours

Perth 5-piece Miles Away are set to confirm their standing at the top of the hardcore heap with their awe-inspiring third album, Endless Roads. The culmination of eight years of hard work, heartache and good times, Endless Roads is the sound of a passionate, road-hardened band at the height of their powers. Three years on from their previous effort, 2007’s Rewind Repeat, Miles Away are older, wiser and more determined than ever. “We’ve all matured and that’s come through in our writing,” says MA guitarist Adam Crowe. “This time we set out with different intentions for each song. We wanted some short, fast songs, some heavier songs and also some epic, drawn-out songs…”  Written last year during some rare downtime, Endless Roads was recorded in early 2010 at Wild Arctic studios in New York by producer Dean Baltulonis (Sick Of It All, American Nightmare), and will be released on August 20. Currently on a tour throughout Europe, this September / October the band will return to home soil for the Endless Roads Tour.

The tour hits Byron Sunday Oct 3 @ YAC All Ages Doors 6pm.

The Amity Affliction – Anchors Tour

// July 16th, 2010 // No Comments » // Tours

After debuting their new album “Youngbloods” at #6 on the ARIA Charts and selling out the majority of their capital cities run earlier this month, The Amity Affliction have put together a regional run in August / September to appease the thousands of fans who are dying for more from the Brisbane six-piece.

As their first tour for 2010, the recently completed “Youngbloods” trek was a massive success. With sold out rooms anywhere from 900 to 2200 capacity, the response was nothing short of pandemonium. The tour came just two weeks after their sophomore album “Youngbloods” debuted at #6 on the ARIA Charts.

“Anchors” is the Triple J rotated single taken from the album, and one of the band’s most popular tracks to date. The Anchors Tour will take in regional and suburban dates along the East Coast, and will be the final tour for 2010 as the band prepares to launch their UK and US campaigns at then of the year.

Get in quick, because like the Youngbloods Tour, all these shows are expected to sell out.

Ticket for The Anchors Tour will go on sale July 22nd.
